The Emoticons don't work anymore on my end. Does anyone have an issue with them too? I know they're not a must, but if that can be put back to work, it would be great. Also it would be cool if we could have our own personalized emoticons like a joecanuck skimask, a maple leaf, a timbit, etc. Again this is probably asking for non essential stuff, which could only mean "potential ideas for the future".

With no Joe product or a convention there isn't much to discuss, maybe opening up the site to more than just GI Joe would be the way to go.  I have moved into collecting other things though I still look for GI Joe stuff, what are you guys collecting now?

I would have to say I used to collect Kenner Aliens and Predators lines for quite some time. I'm only one figure short: the Night Cougar Alien mint on card.  I also pick up Transformers when I find some cool ones for my daughters at shows. I rarely buy from stores nowadays as the new toys all look alike (that is what happens when Disney takes control of most of all the toy racks/ not much originality or too much of it everywhere it's so hard to choose from)

So I recently acquired an old complete Atari video system. The red light is on when I turn on the power, but I get no signal on the TV. I'm using an LCD 40'' tv (modern era! LOL). And I'm also on channels 2 or 3 which are the only ones that the Atari would use. Is there something that I am missing? Please let me know if some of you had the same kind of problem and how you got around it. I am googleing the "How to's" and most of the sites I found call for repairs but I'm no hardware expert.

Thanks for your help!

You coming to Toronto anytime in the near future?  :)

I hope to be able to come for the next convention in Mississauga on February 1st... I'm yet to see.

Why, missing me already? :)

Aside of that, I'm up for a Joe Meet provided that It doesn't conflict with my Schedule.

Right on Arrow. Now for my actual review of this toy, LOL. For me, the cycle armour had EVERYTHING to please the dormant yet nostalgic Robotech fan in me. Unfortunately, Hasbro really screwed their job on this one, and my expectations were not even met. Almost everyone I know had the same problem with their Ashiko figure beeing very loosely jointed once taken out of the package. This causes the figure to collapse under the bulk of the armor once it is "fitted". The idea of the cycle transforming into an armor was cool, but Hasbro obviously didn't benefit from the same engineers working for their Transformers toys department. The armor feels purposely "put together", almost like a mini Battle Force 2000 base, but at least with the merit of the parts snapping onto something this time. Some parts of the armor aren't even aesthetically functional. And the legs of the armor feel "clumsy" as they are too wide for the figure to be able to close his legs properly when he standing straight. My rating: -22. Period!
