Either that, or he's a Hasbro canada employee.

I heard that wave 7 should hit in May, so that would align with what I was told.

The distribution of new product is very strange, and from what I can tell it takes 2 - 3 months to filter out to all retailers in the states.

Does anyone remember the days in 2000 & 2001 when Canada actually got new product first.

Mattel is the worst by fay. It takes a few months to get the new product here after it hits the US.

I like the fact that they actually used clear stickering for the specialties. These look a lot better than the dollar store knock off packaging that we got last time.

I am not terribly impressed by the wave though. If I ever find any of the army builders maybe it'll change my mind.

I've seen those a few times. What's the deal with the order 66 thing? I don't follow star wars toys anymore but I did notice the only set I've not seen is 6 of 6.

I know order 66 was the order given to take out the Jedi. Just don't know if there is anything special about the toys.

Post by: pdaat on May 21, 2008, 12:25:15 PM: The Order 66 sets all include a trooper. Also, there are some new sculpts of common characters or some characters where there may have not been a widely available figure before.

As for GIJoe Wave 7, I was disappointed to learn from the Toy manager at the London North Wal-Mart that the Hasbro rep told him due to lack of supply that the store would not likely see any more Joes until July due to supply issues.

I still need Duke, Spirit, Wild Bill and HISS Driver. Can any one help?

Based on what was on the single peg it looked like a complete single box of wave 7 (2008 wave 3) so I took em all 'cept for the extra SE. So keep your eyes open fellow canucks!

Post by: K.B. on May 23, 2008, 12:49:16 AM: Went to my local TRU(whitby) during my break today and found wave 7. Man, was I shocked. I cleaned them out as they only got in one case I'm guessing. They had 2 vipers and one of everyone else except SE.

I actually found a HISS Driver at TRU this morning. I've been checking regularly, and this is the first one I've seen.

It would seem that TRU is getting a much better supply of the 25th than Walmart/Zellers are.

Half were canadian cards and the other half were american cards (with a Buzzer too)

Not sure exactly what I found but I picked up a Hiss Driver, Spirit, and a Viper all on American cards. I left behind a Jet Pack Duke, another viper, 2 Snakes Eyes (Commando?) and 2 Wild Bills. The Wild Bills appeared to be on wave 9 cards so I'm not quite sure if what I saw was picked over remnants of several cases or some new assortment.
