I don't get it, I get this message almost everytime... "Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries. We are blocking your viewing in an effort to prevent restricted items from being displayed. Regrettably, in some cases, we may prevent users from accessing items that are not within the scope of said restrictions because of limitations of existing technology. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope you may find other items of interest on eBay.".

If you see it, I also should... >:(

Do you have anyone in the States who can help you out?  Buy it, have it shipped to your friend in the States, and them have him mail it to you?

Here is your fix, the issue is Firefox and too many languages installed on the browser...

This is because eBay stupidly assumes that if your browser claims you might speak German (or French, I believe), you must be in a country where viewing such items is illegal.

Specifically, the work-around is to remove any languages that you don't speak from the list of languages in the "Language" tab of the International pane of the System Preferences.

If you do speak German or French or whatever the blocked language du jour is, you'll have to remove it, too, to make the eBay nonsense work, but for most Camino users, simply removing other languages is sufficient.

You must be joking... right? If true, that is the most stupid thing eBay ever done (this and high fees, buying Paypal and getting fees from eBay AND Paypal on the same transaction... including on shipping, etc.)

The issue is Ebay not liking Firefox when it has multiple languages installed on it.  More Reasons the IE9 is the BEST BROWER!

I don't even know what I would do with those.

But on a side note, anyone want to split an order of Crimson Tomax figures?

The way that this sort of offer has emerged in the past, is by being "dumpster dive" specials.

The figures themselves were likely tossed for QC reasons and generally they are sprayed with paint or otherwise disfigured (heh) so that they can't be mistaken for figures that pass qc. You can, however, if you are willing to spend a lot of time with a screwdriver and know the right people, pull all the parts that don't have paint on them, and piece together a few completed figures free of disfiguring paints.

+ ebay = Profit.

They have many errors :

The best part is when the seller says: "By HASBRO 1985!  very rare & limited!"  ::)

The Tomax/Xamot are better made than the Baroness who looks really bad...

This has been a topic of discussion too on Declassified.  From close assessment, it seems like just parts cobbled together.

I too have been having issues with the seller - it seems he is blocking Canadian bidders for some reason.

Try what Bandonov said, it worked for me. I use Firefox with French and English on it and I blocked on eBay. Then I use IE with plain English on it and it works. So, Nothing to do with the country!

Be warned that if you do indeed win any of these auctions, the seller adds A LOT to the shipping charges to increase his profits.
