I was thinking gold as well.

However, if possible since I don't know if it is possible, you might do crazy numbers with either a dark blue or red "chromed" SNAKE.

I think collectors out there would go nuts over a "sort of" canon colour scheme with the shine of "chroming".

Should have called it gold and listed it as Pimp Daddy Destro's SNAKE.

Trust me, it is possible 8)

But the cost is 50% more than regular chrome... this is stopping me right now...

Last day for the Bronze snake. It's still around $12.xx.

Funny thing is there is probably the most people I've ever had watching this auction but the bids are still very low.

The last 10 mins should be interesting.

UK Escape Armour custom for sale

Yep, I did it again:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 500wt_1202

Just to explain why, I like chrome. So when I sold off the CJC Chrome SNAKE a while back the plan was always to have it replaced some day for my own personal collection. A few months back I decided I wanted to proceed. So my thought at the time was that if I was going to go through the hassle to make one, I might as well make a few more.

I sent them in and had a few different colours made. On average it's one for me, one for sale.

I've had people contact me through Ebay asking me if I can get them made, etc... These are not easy to get done and the turn around from start to finish is around 2 months, plus my goal was never about making a job of this. I made ones for my own collection that I though would look cool and it was easier to say "while your at it, make me a few extra".

So what do you guys think?

While bronze wasn't my favourite colour, $53 was not that much. It looks like you lost money there...

Is there any way we can join force and make some chrome SNAKE at the same time? Like a JoeCanuck board project? Not a CJC exclusive... just something board member can do together...

No, I still managed to cover my costs.

I'm not sure if I'm going back any time soon. Stuff like this usually takes a couple of months to get done to be honest.

Just to chime in here, but I would definitely be in for one each of silver, red and blue chromed SNAKEs.  I have the Serpent armours just waiting!!!!

Seriously, morgardee or martin, if you are interested in making a big run I would be a definite yes.  The wait time is not an issue, for me at least.

Hell, as suggested, why not make it a site specific offer to help the coffers?

Like canprime, time is not an issue for me. I can even wait until the next CJC to get back my stock  :o

Red one ends tomorrow:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 525wt_1185

I took a gamble putting it up at the same time as the SDCC but then again I've covered all my production costs and I know whoever wins this one will love it. I know I do.  ;D

BTW, I've never had as many people watching an auction as this one and every one of my auctions has been settled in the last 5 seconds and the last few of my auctions have been won by snipers. I've had people say they blinked and lost auctions at the very end. Just giving you guys heads up.
