The 28th issue is now available with 17 whopping pages!! Included this month is "It's Convention Season!", "My Introduction To G.I. Joe", "NJC 50", "Name That Figure!", "Figure Review : Volcano Viper", "Point / Counter-Point : Resolute : Was it good for the brand?", "Meanwhile, Back In The Comics : End Game", "It's The Little Things : Canadian JoeCon Presentation & Paperwork Review", "Evil Empire".... and possibly one of the coolest things the JoeCanuck newsletter has had in awhile, an ALL NEW comic story by our own "Loop" titled "The Canuckleheads". It's awesome. Check all of it out here (http://http://www.joecanuck.com/NL/2010/APRIL10.pdf), and don't forget to let us know what you think on the message boards.
As always, all past 27 Issues can be read here (http://http://www.joecanuck.com/site/?q=node/9).

I now want me a Volcano Viper!

45 views and not one comment on any article or Loops comic?
We need a "give your head a shake" emoticon on here.

Just downloaded and browsed over coffee... fantastic as usual!!

I now want me a Volcano Viper!
And I now want me some Canuckleheads figures to review! ;D
-
Once again an Excellent Newsletter! When you completely forget about work so you can read the next page and then the next. It left me wanting more as usual! The comic was fantastic, great new characters! I loved Point/Counterpoint!
-
I loved the comic. This is what the news letter needed.
-
Love the newsletters. I've read them all in the last couple weeks. I like nearly every article category, and you guys are putting out a great newsletter! In this issue's point and counterpoint, I thought resolute had some cool updates in style but I simply can't support the cartoon-with-profanity approach. So I think that was a major "bad for the brand" also. Great review of the 2009 set paperwork, I agree, love the packaging, really makes it a stellar set. Not big on the volcano viper, though some of his gear looks cool. While reading, I couldn't help but thinking maybe the next exclusive will involve the new roc type snowmobile and some 25th joe canuck character(s)... We've now seen joecanuck types with the ammo bands (exclusive), with the web gear straps (comic art), and now with snow job's chest pouches (and different heads in this story).

And a 'pouts' one.
Why? Because I think the work people put into this thing month in and month out should be applauded, or at the very least given a comment on the job they did?
Each month, I'm amazed at the excellent work the people that submit things for the newsletter do. They take the time to sit down and produce something new to "give back" to the Joe Community.
I think that deserves a comment after they read it. Don't you?

Eh, it's just a bunch of losers that write for that stupid newsletter anyway. Oh wait, is that MY name in there? Oh, well never mind then ;D
In all seriousness, I'm sure Baron was just trying to be funny, Mike. I really appreciate how seriously you take the newsletter and how much you appreciate the effort we put forth.

Meh. I laughed at the pout comment and gave him a timbit.
It's a 17 page newsletter, people need time to read all that content before they can comment. I haven't even finished it yet. ;-)
Granted if no one commented on it after 2 weeks I would use the pout icon myself.

Yup! Sorry, was just being daft. I get the exact same way with BFTB, hitting refresh every twenty seconds...

Started to read yesterday and just finished. My first comment is it's probably one of the best newsletter. Great work on this guys and very interesting!
-Was G.I. Joe: Resolute Good for the Brand? - i like this kind of articles
-Meanwhile, Back In The Comics: End Game - this article is for me. As kid, i was able to read only a few comics and for me, knowing the status of my favourites caracters is a great update :)
-The reviews are always welcome!
-and the ''CAnuckleheads'' comics is fanstactic! We need to see more soom!

Yeah, I've read the entire marvel run in the last 10 months and I still had forgotten some of the status details at the end.

Good newsletter as always.
Although I'm disappointed no one came to me to do the "against" side of a Resolute debate. *pouts*
-
The first article was very touching. I found myself really relating to the story!
The NJC50 story was a good read. I've checked out many customs over time and a lot of those guys have more talent and patience in their pinky then I do.
Jason's art in his strip has changed greatly since I first saw it. It just keeps getting better. :o
Christopher's comic article is very well timed with FREE COMIC BOOK DAY  coming up. TO be honest, I dropped the book at I think issue 140. And there was a picture of Stalker! ;D
As for Resolute, I think if nothing else it was a nod to the long time fans and I thank Hasbro for that. Besides, if they kept going with it they would have run out of Joes and Cobras eventually. :P

No one came to Justin or John either. They did it on their own and simply submitted it.
As always, everyone is welcome to submit an article, review or Point/Counter Point if they'd like.
-
And I guess I don't get Mike's Joe Canuck after all.....
-
Meeza enjoyed da Canuckleheads comic book!
Beeing a longtime amateur artist myself I never got to thank Jason for his personal contribution to bringing to life the characters from the JC universe. Loop, you probably don't remember me by the name of LJ22, but when you'll see me (and I'll make sure to bring this up at the Con) the 1 minute of brief conversation we had last year will flash back into your cells like an astro second.
And is it just me or Moosejaw looks like The Mike? ::)
As for the rest of the articles, personnally I found them a bit more heavy compared to what I'm used to reading, therefore I'm taking my time to assess and process. I'll make sure to let you know what I thought.
As for the Dio story, great as usual, but I honestly want to see a direct sequel to it, even it lasts one more frame .

Trust me, you never really had a chance. ;-)

I figured. It was just an attempt at humor on my part. :p

I'm happy to see that the general response to Canuckleheads is very positive! Material for the next few issues are already done and with everyone's kind words so far, I'm now motivated to work on more shorts for the rest of this year. Expect to see some familiar faces pop-in from past Can Joe Meet exclusives to the general GIJoe universe!
-
Looking forward to it!

Hell yes! You've definitely got talent, Loop!

Enjoyed the point counterpoint, and like the others loved the Canuckleheads comic. Great job, on another great issue guys!
-
In reference to Point/Counterpoint, I guess John won't be too happy about the animation style of the new GIJoe cartoon.........
-
As always the newsletter is great fun to read!!
