Doesn't really fall into the "toy" category - but I think it's cool just the same. Was very happy to be able to get a set of these, not only due to their limited availablility, but in my size yet too!

What a cool item. When were these released?

I really think this deserves a Timbit...very cool. Same here, I'd like to know when these came out.

These were released in August/September 2009 as a Foot Locker House Of Hoops exclusive. As there are only 4 Foot Locker House of Hoops locations, you can imagine the low production numbers these were made in.
Available were Destro (the one I got)
as well as:
Storm Shadow:

Cobra Commander

The Cobra organization joining forces with the globalization sports footwear company...just awesome. But I wonder if they ever planned to have a Snake Eyes look. Like cool looking black shoes.
-
Awesome. I need new Bball kicks. I'm going to try to get the Stormshadows!
-
and where are the stores to get them? they are about $135 on ebay
-
Those are too weird for me to wear, even if they weren't Joe related. I normally try and find straight black Nike Airs.

Oh, I totally agree. I won't wear them. Just thought they were a neat collector's item.

Oh but you have to wear them at the CanJoeCon. If anything at least once. ;D
