Looking for convention exclusives

What are diSimonne convention exclusives exactly? I always heard that expression but never really knew what it was... :(

The diSimonne exclusives were hand painted single figures from Hasbro factory overstock. They include race Card driver Ace, Policeman Starduster, and Cobra Disguise Jinx.

Your other option to get these is to contact diSimonne directly, and pay him money to make you one. He's often said he'd make a few more for extra cash.

There were also a number of other "exclusives" of that era that were just drivers with a extra sticker on the packaging.

You do have to give the guy credit for hand painting every one of those.

Raptor basically sum it all up. I have only seen the police officer once on ebay and that was it.  Thanks for the tip, i might have to contact him to finally get those figs.
