70s & 80s Christmas Sears Wishbook action figure scans
« on: September 15, 2006, 05:43:26 PM »

I was finally able to scan in most of the Sears Wishbooks I have and put up a section on my Website featuring the pages. I still have a few Canadian catalogs as well as a few from Eatons, JC Penny & Montgomery wards to add. Still on the lookout for the years I am missing for Sears, so keep checking back for new ones in the months to come.

Check it out, lots of cool vintage Joe toy pics!

Man, I really miss the days when the "competition" was advertised next to the main lines. Looking at that Commando Force, I get memories of seeing similar catalogs as a child and wanting the "lower brand" character just as much as any real Joe. It didn't matter to me as long as they all looked cool and were all the same size.

I miss them, too.  I still have some old Consumer Distribution GIJOE figures ads
