Since I only bought he Sgt., I can only go by that experience.  It was $30 (USPS) to ship to T.O. and included in that charge was $3 to wrap the items in bubble wrap (Not Impressed)!  I really have only one more item that I want to buy from them and that is the Dr. Venom set.  But I can careless for the green man-eating plant and the AF trooper that it comes with.

This news seriously makes me consider joining the club for the first time. Bandonov (or any other member of the GIJCC), if you would be so kind, what is the cost/benefit for you? If I understand correctly it costs about 62$US to join? Aside from the membership figure and 12(?) newsletters, what do you get for that price? Are the newsletters interesting (say on par with the excellent work done by the Joecanuck guys)? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
OB
I have been a member for a couple months so far,  the only other benefit not mentioned was the discounts for merchandise on the site.  I got my 2 Sgt. Slaughter for $40 from them.  All other items you can access with there free trooper membership.  It is the surprise figure that makes it worth wild.

Thanks for the info. I forgot about he better prices at the club store. Another question, how are the shipping rates when you order from the club store? I've heard horror stories, I assume the Officer level discount helps offset this?

OB

Shipping is WAY to much. Ask Real Boss about this subject. That is the reason I don't buy from them. Case in point, they have some 12' figures on sale right now. I wanted to get the case of 4 of the 12' pilot figure for $40 (can't go wrong at $10 per figure) but I checked the shipping and it was about $42.xx, so more then the item in question. I have bought from them before, been quoted over $20.00 in shipping and seen the item show up with shipping rates less then $10.00.

Now I know some people make money off shipping, but when you pay around $70.00 a year to be a member, it's my belief that they should NOT be making a profit off of shipping to you.

Their shipping fees is the main reason why their warehouse is still filled with old stuff.
A lot of International fans would buy their stuff, but the shipping fees are killing it.

Guess I'm the only one that isn't impressed.

Never liked 86 dialtone.

Doubt I'll like a 25th version either.

Wait for the pics, you may be suprised?  The RoC version was a female.  Who knows what were are going to get.

It had better be a male version, a switch in gender is at odds with the 25th Anniversary theme.  So many other female characters get no figures (Lady Jaye, Jinx, Bombstrike) and yet we get a well-known male character in female form for ROC?  WHY?!

I'm wondering what the 1/6 figure will be since the Foreign Adventurers are over.

Good advice. Although, I read on another forum that it would indeed be 1986 version.

What puzzles me is the report that it would be a new head. Honestly, a repainted Flint or Sgt Stone would probably work. If I were the club, I would have put those tooling dollars on the webgear and backpack. I guess we'll have to wait and see what accessories he comes with. The rest of the recipe should be pretty straight forward:

Torso: Viper
Arms, hands, legs: Airborne

The other option available is that you can buy the figure from the site after they are given to the members.  They sell the extras for $20-ish.

Getting a membership for me is dependent on how their box set exclusive will be, if its 25th style Id really like it, but I know how bloody expensive it is.

I got my figure today and he looks GREAT! I read in a few other sites that figure was not painted propperly and the filecard was bent.  I'm glad to say my figure appears to have been painted perfectly and the filecard is perfect!    Did anyone else gets theres yet?  And was it okay or damaged like the others have reported?
