To me he's not really either. Sort of a resemblance in the face to gnawgahyde (though that original is frea-ky!), and i guess the buffness of him, but that's about it. But he doesn't really resemble recondo either. He reminds me more of jesse ventura from predator than either of those two guys. Either way, other than the looking down problem and the hat falling off he's an awsome figure with cool gear. All the ridiculous gear is one of the major awsomenesses in this line. You can mix and match it around and it has all kinds of possibilities. Can't go wrong with excess gear imo.
