Guys, it's poor sales that lead to GI joe's demise, plus the joe brand not appealing to kids anymore, it started way before this in a declining way. Kids started to be more into video games than us in the later 90's, unlike our generation (for the most of us), so that forced Hasbro taking a long break and plan a comeback later on, I'm sure. Gi joe is like Barbie is to Mattel. I doubt that Hasbro would "kill" the line, they'd just try to do better in a next time to come, and so on.

Now that 5h4rK said he would have bought 1 of each, I will buy 3 of each just to outdo him.  Then after he has turned green with envy, I would place them on the freebie table at the CJC, after he checked it out so he could not pick one up.

Instead of these horrors, they could've gone back to Super Joe, but in 3 3/4 form if they wanted to tackle science fiction so bad.
