Thank you :). Still got to recover, but thankful for his protection.  Thanks for the prayers most of all and also for the concern.

You've got me wanting to do some of these.  That dusty especially.  :)

Thank you, we are at the Ronald McDonald house now.

Hey guys, my son's procedure had been pushed back a few times, we are supposed to leave tomorrow (Sunday) to head that way.  Supposed to be at the hospital at 10:30 eastern time on Monday morning, I think the procedure may be scheduled for 12 or 12:30 eastern time Monday.  If any of you have a direct line to the Lord, I would appreciate prayer on his behalf.  I'm praying that not a single atom in that room will move without His guidance, and all will go well both before, during, and after.  Thanks, Ryan

General Joe Talk / Re: What can we talk about today ?

I have my joes from when I was a kid and have added some nice ones to that sinc (82-94).  I got back into collecting with the 25th for the express reason that they were updates of the 82-94 line.  So, the main reason I'm not actively collecting the 25th line now, is that I have already collected it.  I would suspect that is the same for a lot of collectors, but it does seem a lot of vocal fans seem to prefer the modern spin (reimagining) of poc and 30th.  While some of those were some pretty cool (jungle duke and snow job for example), I do prefer 25th type updates.  Kwinn and the upcoming cc, se, ss, and night viper would fit into that imo.  I say upcoming because I have yet to get them.

Thank You Lord for allowing and enabling me to do this.

These two had some similarities, aside from the greenstuffing needs which are not unusual for these characters:
-they both needed gloves and I ended up cutting joe arms, attaching a peg to keep the articulation, and using different star wars gloves
-they both have stripes down the arms
-they both have a mask which I altered

Since many of these mask helmets were designed to extend from the shoulders up, I tried to keep from "pushing" them too far up by using green stuff instead of removable accessories on the shoulders, and trying to do the green stuff thin.  However, there were 3 or 4 masks I just couldn't seem to get to sit low enough.  Two of them were Brad's and Dusty's.

I cut Brad's in half horizontally, removed a layer, and put it back together with green stuff filling gaps.  Dusty's I enlarged the view shield with green stuff so it would line up with his eyes better (the vintage one also did not line up with the eyes).

Also, this project is primarily based on the cartoon version of the characters, but I decided to include pics of the vintage figs with them anyways.

The credit belongs to the Lord, I thank Him for doing these with my hands.

The Rhino vehicle came with Bruce Sato and another version of Matt Trakker.  I think I liked the Rhino version of Trakker better than the Thunderhawk version as a kid, and I still do.  I think it may be my favorite of this project at this point.

Matt uses parts from about 5 joe figures and 1 wolverine figure, plus accessories from 2 more joes.  The Mask actually didn't come with the neck flair, so had to greenstuff that, as well as the thigh pads, belt buckle, hair, and lower torso armor.  Dremmeled/sanded/greenstuffed the tunnel rat upper leg to remove the leg straps and pouch.

I want to thank all the guys who helped me out getting the parts for this project.  The mask items in this post came from (best I remember) joe grizzly and jay, thanks fellas.

MATT TRAKKER

Next up, BRUCE SATO
He uses parts from 6 joe figures and 1 Indiana jones figure, green stuff for the chest armor, side and back straps, side pouch and straps, forearm padding, boot tubing on the lower legs and feet, knee pads, and belt.  Dremmeled/sanded/greenstuffed the pouches on the breaker upper leg.  The lower torso retains articulation (the straps and lower armor is not attached to the lower torso, the leg with the pouch also can move.  The paraviper knees had 4 pads and the cartoon Bruce had 3, so I dremmeled/sanded the paraviper pads off and greenstuffed the 3 back on.

Here is a mock up of a custom card along with a vintage scott and t-bob card, NOT A FINAL PRODUCT, just a mock up.
