Anyone wanna split a table at the Joe meet?
« on: January 08, 2008, 10:01:47 PM »

I know it's only $25 a table but I really must save as much money as possible (going back to school in September).  Plus, the more the merrier as far as dealers go right?

Anyone had experience as a dealer before?  How are people for haggling (is it even allowed)?  I want to make some money selling off excessive parts of my collection (e.g. post 1987 Joes, duplicates etc.) and I realize everyone's looking for deals but I don't want to sell stuff ridiculously cheap.  Any tips?  I've never sold at a toy show before and wouldn't mind hearing about your experiences.

Thanks!

I had one table this year, nothing serious, and did fairly well. Haggling was definitely part of the meet. People come to the Hamilton meets looking more for fairly common pieces than hard to find rarities.
