Yep.  TRU in Whitby has the singles in too. As of this afternoon, there were about 3 Beachheads, 2 Sepentors and 3 Buzzers.

Here too, they didnt' come up on SKU scan and there were no more in the back and no more showing on order.

After there were only 2 Beacheads.  :)

Nothing in 25th at TRU Yonge / Eglinton Centre.  No pegs, no spot made for them...zippo.  Asking the stockbot in the area, she said there is currently nothing in their aisle plan that is allowing for new product.

Hasbro Canada:  Bringing you the best products in the world... minus the actual product.

TRU Canada was saying that they were going to be their exclusive product.  Could be a pantload, but it would seem to fall into a historical pattern.

General Joe Talk / Sigma @retail?

Apologies if this was discussed elsewhere, but any word if Sig6 figs are coming to Canadian retail, or do we get boned yet again?

Cheers,

Ontario / Wave 5&6 at TRU?
« on: July 14, 2005, 09:59:14 AM »
There was still a decent selection of all the above at the Yonge/Eg TRU as of July 12 for those still on the hunt.

Sadly, same price too.

General Joe Talk / Do joes fit in 1/18 scaled vehicules??
« on: May 27, 2005, 01:03:15 PM »
Generally, no.  But I have found that some of the cheaper 1/18th scale is much closer.  Like the Maiton motorcyles are pretty close to the right size (at $4 a piece) where the American Chopper ones are not.  This could apply to vehicles as well.  Best to bring along a fig and embarass yourself by cranking out a little playtime in the aisles  :)

Oh no sweat, man...I just happen to be passing thru the mall and thought I would check out TRU.  I didn't see your post until I came here to share the news.  I was only after the Lightning anyway for a custom  :)

Sadly, Sand Viper was gone.  There is one depth charge left and about 5 kamakuras as of 2:30pm. Still on the pegs.

General Joe Talk / GI JOE 3 3/4 returns (or did it really leave?)

Gah.  What fools.  It's a very, very simple process to include Canada in your shipping domain as a registered US business, especially if you enforce USD payment and COD the taxes to the recipient.  We deal with this all the time at work..when we give the US company the info, they always comeback 'wow...that was easy.'
Thank goodness for friends in the US also addicted to t3h plastic crack.

Hehe...no kidding.  Mark Up is their religion.  However, I managed to score about seven VvV 2 to 6 packs, 5 JvC packs and a few spytroops...all for $4 each.  That place is always such a crapshoot.

You mentioned 'other places'...care to share? :)

Thanks for the welcomes!

I just saw that...rats.  Already locked in for this weekend on other things.  I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for the next event...like the re-release party of all mid 80's Consumer Distributing exclusives to the Canadian market.  Ya-huh...right. Always hoping.

Thanks for the welcome!

Hello!

Just found this site from a linkout over at joesightings.  And here I was thinking I was the only bacon-lovin Canuck scouring ToysToysToys for the bare dregs of figs.

Just got back into collecting the pvc figs last year, but have been doing joe in Lego for a couple years at my site, bijoe.com.

Looking forward to keeping up on the joe world as it pertains to the great north!  Great site!
