Steeles & Yonge. If you want me to pick up one or both, let me know!  (You'd just have to pay cost).  Sorry for the double post - I didn't know where would be best to post it.

Cheers!

A Toys R Us on the Toronto/York Region border (Steeles & Yonge) has two 25th anniversary Joe sets.  I could try to pick them up tomorrow if anyone wanted. You'd just have to pay cost.
Let me know!

Thanks to all!  :)
This is very exciting.  I'm thrilled that Canuck's are getting that sort of respect!
I don't know if it was possible for me to get more enthused about the meet since the Hama announcement came out, but this is great!

Again, thanks for the effort; for the past months and for everything that will doubtless be busy in the upcoming months!

I can't wait to see the Hasbro display in person, rather than on some message board!  ;D

General Joe Talk / Re: My Joe Figure Run

I can see how easy that would happen.  A Night Force figure here, a Night force figure there, and it would be tough not to justify finishing off the year...  :P

A brief story synopsis. I would say this is likely the truth, as it fits in perfect with the less than subtle questions the Hasbro Joe team were asking us at the con.

That's a TON of characters to bring into the first film. Although they don't name Joe names, that sounds like it's gotta be 15+ significant characters at a minimum.
Wow.

General Joe Talk / My Joe Figure Run
« on: November 11, 2007, 11:33:13 PM »
Well, just yesterday I purchased the last figure from my want list.  Although three of 'em haven't arrived yet (fingers crossed) I now have the full run up to 1987, when I stopped collecting as a kid.
I'm still short a few accessories (and a variant or two) but I've got every character figure (even MM Cobra Commander!).

I hope this feeling of accomplishment lasts a while, and I'll try to avoid justifying completing the '88 line...

I was excited so I had to share...  ;D

I don't buy too much on evilBay, but now when I do it's awesome that it actually costs less than what I've "bid".  Good times.  Sure there's repercussions for employment and our economy, but the repercusions on my figure collection have been great!  :)
