are you talking about for toys or just to go see?
Toys, I usually hit the usual TRU and Walmart in my area. Also Galaxy Comics on Henderson. I'm sure there are several other places to go
As for other sites to visit, most people will say to check out the Forks and the surrounding areas, look up the Red River Ex going on till June 21 (www.redriverex.com (http://www.redriverex.com)). Folklarama is starting up soon I think.

Check out Paddlewheel boats (www.paddlewheelcruises.com (http://www.paddlewheelcruises.com)) for something else. (depends on your age, during the summer the ship turns into a floating party boat - its hot, crammed but a lot of fun if your into drinking and dancing, at least they used to do this if I remember correctly)

Hit up Osbourne and Corydon for the night life restaurants.
The Assiniboine Park Zoo and Botanical Gardens etc. are cool for family

If you have some time  and the weather is nice check out Grand Beach outside the city on Lake Winnipeg. Its usually busy but its rated as a pretty good beach throughout North America.

Manitoba is the only province I've never been to.
I've briefly been in Sask, and enjoyed B.C. the most out of them all. (Nova Scotia was cool too).

Have a good time. Let us know if it's as flat as they say. ;-)
