Not defending the price, just clarifying -- there is a "Season Pass" for $69.99. So you save a little. Not a lot, but a little. You can also rent the episodes for .99ยข too.

The April date came from online retailers posting pre-orders. Those are never a 100% guarantee. So Wave 5 (aka Wave 3 2011) is May, Wave 6 (Wave 4 2011) is July and Wave 7 (Wave 5 2011) is August. Besides retailers need to be able to sell the existing product down and Waves 3 (Wave 1 2011) and Wave 4 (Wave 2 2011) are still starting to show up at retail. So instead of jamming up the pegs with more stuff and never getting to the later waves, this is a good thing. We just need some patience, no matter how hard that may bed.  ;D

Yeah, I was quite surprised by this too. IMO, I think they may arrive in the North America, but will be in very small quantities. Especially if Hasbro has cancelled online retailers pre-orders like BBTS.

As much as I appreciate Hasbro doing these Q&A's, I'm really starting to find them a waste of time. They wouldn't give us more than canned answers before; now with the new restrictions in place, it makes it harder to come up with interesting questions and we still get canned responses.

I mean look at the ones we asked, they didn't even really answer them. It is also looking like a good portion of sites didnt' participate in this round (at least they haven't post their response yet). So really, where do we go with this?

Of note though, (not to rub it in either) the Target Deluxe Figures are $9.99 here in the US. Not sure why Target.com has them at $12.99, the highest I've heard them listed at in a store is $10.99.
