Great job to everyone. Looks awesome. Only wish I could make it to try and get a set. Congrats to the team.

I hope not becuase I don't want to show up at 7:00am and find 300 people from Detroit who are just trying to turn the exclusive conventions sets over on ebay.

We have been helping promote the Con for Mike.

Not that I can make it, but is that what you think of us?  :o

You know we are doing what we can to help out. Just keep giving us the updates and we'll get the word out.

Ah crap, Chuckles has those retarded Dataframe hands.  Totally useless.

Actually those would be Spirit hands. ;) (he had them first)

I can't see them being exclusive to online.  Maybe the 7-packs will be, but they should see some sort of retail release.

After all, weren't the extreme-conditions sets supposed to be online only?  Now I see them in comic shops.

Comic shops got them because Diamond Comic Distributors carried them in the Previews Catalog from the initial time you could order them. So that is not any kind of indication they were/are going to be available at retail too.

Has any purchased extra flints to use as Cobra Soldiers?

I have.

As for the price increase, got to love corporations in this economic uncertainty who are maintaining or trying to increase their bottom line. ::)  Over inflated prices on a lot of retail goods should be dropping, not increasing.

That is for certain. I just don't get Hasbro sometimes. With the costs of oil gone down substantially since the summer why have figures gone up? By the time the movie figures hit, they are gonna be $9.99 or $10.99 each.

So you have them at $8.92 now, but that would be about $7.30 US Dollar. Which is what I thought they were around already. So maybe you guys are just catching up to us in pricing???

General Joe Talk / Re: Wave 2 2009 Vehicles Cancelled.

Yes, all of Wave 5 was cancelled, but word has it, it's just a delay. That they will be re-solicited for a first quarter release of 2009. I don't get why they could just leave the orders standing for now, but oh well. Hopefully this is the case.

Controversy creates cash. It's a proven fact.

What boggles my mind, is if Hasbro doesn't like HT posting images, or using the HT name, likeness, images, - all copyrights owned by Hasbro - WHY does Hasbro include HT as one of teh sites to "ask questions". ??

Who said this? It is my understanding that Fran is friends with one of the VP's there. I doubt any "ruling" will come down on them.

Like I said over at the TD, sorry this happened to you. It's just becoming more and more obvious they are out of control over there. Their ego is not being kept in check and it's pouring over. We need to stand strong as a community, that is what will help us ALL prevail.

We've obtained some higher res images. So the image of Blowtorch is much clearer now.
