Okay, I keep hearing about this Mary Macdonald-Lewis card.  Anyone have an extra to trade?  I have a few extras:   2,4,5,7,8,910,13 (2009),17, and 19.  One stop at her web site and a listen to that mp3 and I'm in LOVE I tell ya.  Can someone help me out?    ???

Spencer

P.S.  Thanks to LatinJoe22 for trading with me.  I'm just about caught up.

Hey you northern Joe fanatics!  Hope your winter hasn't been too bad.  Down here in Virginia, its been colder than usual but we haven't had a lot of snow.  Botton line:  high energy bills and no kids out of school.  Lose-lose for everyone!

Its been a while but I thought I would drop by and see if any of your new cards are available?  I loved the first series and would love to get my paws on the second.  I'd be happy to trade, pay for postage, or come up there and mow your lawn for the summer (well, maybe the first two things).

Anyone have any cards available?

Hey guys!

Hope the Convention went well.  Hope one of these years I'll be able to put aside the time and money to head north for all that Joe goodness.  Are the new cards still only being mailed within Canada or are any heading down to the good ol' U.S. of A?

I believe I am on the mailing list but thought I would post my current want list.  I have a few extras left from last year although most of the extras I shared with fellow collectors.  The ones I am looking for are:

# [font=Verdana:1fe7ku7p]11,12,13[/font:1fe7ku7p] (2008),14,15,16,18, and 20  (I also need one of the #3s but aren't sure if the one I have is a reprint or an original)

Wow, that is quite a few.  I've fallen behind and I can't catch up (to paraphrase an old commercial).  Any help would be appreciated.  Cheers!

Spencer

He PM'd me - but I didn't get a chance to respond until today.

Spencer - your cards will go in the mail this week!

The cards arrived!  My set is complete (for now)!  Brreak out the champagne!  Seriously, I love the cards and appreciate the generosity and support from forum members.

Off Topic / Re: How many other members like to DRINK!?!?!?

After abusing my liver for years back in my teens and twenties, I have gotten some sense and no longer "drink for effect."  A good beer or glass of wine once in a while does me fine.  Something about having kids makes you less interested in overdoing I suppose.  Either way, drinking less saves money and helps you avoid doing stupid stuff!  At least, some of the time.  ;)

For me, a cold microbrew beer with a pizza or a nice glass of Chianti with a good Italian dinner is one of life's great pleasures.

I've got the 3 you need.

PM me your info and I'll send them out this week

Hey there!  I've PM'ed you a few times with my address but I'm not entirely sure that it worked correctly.  Please let me know if your offer still stands and whether or not you got my address.  Thanks Stealth Viper . . .

Spencer

Sorry Spencer, we don't make this clear anywhere but you need a minimum 5 posts to PM.

Hey Scramble,

Never really stopped which is quickly proven by the mountains of boxes in my computer room.  I keep telling my wife that we'll retire off of all of this stuff - little does she know that I will probably never sell any of it.  Interesting that my collecting interests tend to gradually shift over the years with only a few consistent themes.  Figures and cards have been a constant since I was old enough to box up my stuff on old shoeboxes and hide them from my mother who tended to throw stuff out all of the time.  Ah, to have all of the things she did manage to junk back them . . .

Virginia Beach is great - I went to school near there and hit that beach every weekend if it was even half way warm.  I live up in northern Virginia which is very different from the rest of the state.  Very urban, very crowded, lotta traffic - bleh - time to move south!
