Sharing an order for the 25th ann. vehicles?
« on: June 22, 2008, 08:23:13 AM »

Hi everyone,

Does someones in Montreal area want to share an order for the 25th ann. vehicles? The best price I found for the 4 boxes is $62.99 + shipping.

If someone wants the Armadillo Tank vs. Serp's Air Chariot I'm letting it go at cost ($14.99 + 1/4 of shipping cost)

Let me know soon!!

Martin

Why not wait until they come out locally and avoid the shipping price?

Hasbro stated these WILL be available here in Canada.

Quote from: "THE Mike?"

Here are some reasons:

1. Price
I may save on shipping while buying here = True (If I find what I'm looking for... But if I have to search 2, 3 or 4 stores with the current gas price, I'm not sure I will save a lot at the end).

And now, with the CAD = USD we save when buying in the US. Canadian retaillers didn't lower that much their price because of the strongest CAD.

2. Availability
If it is the same Hasbro that sent only 2 or 3 packages at the time per store... good luck! Moreover, in Quebec, some products are not available because packaging is not bilingual. It happens with some Star Wars products like the Tie fighter (available at TRU across the country for 39.99$ except in Quebec). I only found it in Montreal at Legends for 69.99$...

Martin I'll answer this here so everyone can benefit:

---->How much doest it cost?
- 2-3$ per package

---->Do you have to pay shipping from there to your home or you go there yourself to pick-up your stuff?
- you drive down and pick it up, it's right across the Plattsburgh border

---->Currently, I have a neighbour that keeps going from Montreal to Vermont. So I will make my package delivered there and shipping will be free from there to Montreal.
- Your friend can pick it up at freeport forwarding for you
