A girl at work gave me a baby outfit for my son. It has a picture of a cow wearing roller skates and says "1,2,3,4 ma p'tite vactie a mal aux pattes"
I tried to use an on-line translator but all I got was "my p' tite vactie has badly with the legs"
So can someone tell me what this thing really says? She said she bought it in Montreal.

p'tite is an appreviation of petite, the feminine "small". "Mal" does mean bad, but "mal out" means "hurt in the". "Mal aux pattes" would mean that it hurt its legs or feet. No idea what a vactie is.
So we've got: 1, 2, 3, 4, my lil' [vactie] hurt its feet.

My friend here at work point out that the word might noe have been "Vactie" but "vache" which means cow. So it looks like my sons new outfit says" 1, 2, 3, 4, my lil' cow hurt its feet." :?
Man, only a kids outfit could get away with that. If I word a T-shirt that said that I think I might get hit with a brick.
Thanks Scramble!

actually 1 2 3 4 ma p'tite vache a mal au pattes, is the beginning of some small song. Its the equivalent of Ini mini mani mo.
I doubt you care but the rest goes "tirons la par la queue, elle ira bien mieux dans un jours ou deux" which mean lets pull her tail and she'll get better in a day or two... OK pulling the tail of a cow who's leg is hurting makes no sense, but hey its a kid's song.

Makes no sense, maybe, but sounds like a damn good time.

Makes about as much sense as "ini mini mani mo catch a tiger by the toe"...
Like Redmao said, it's the french equivalent of that random decider game.
