Where can I unload a lot of comics?
« on: May 03, 2005, 09:12:20 AM »

I've been cleaning my work shop and I have way to many comics. I've got boxes and boxes of them and I think the only ones I care to keep are my Joes and maybe my Spawn but they other stuff can go. I'd like to try to get 50% of the cover price if possible (for the ones in mint shape). Worse shape I can understand not get much for, there are hardly any rough shape books.

I've got a lot of books. I might have something to do with the fact that about 12 years ago I worked in a comic shop.

Anyhow, other than going thru ebay, anyone know a fair place to unload a few hundred comics and get a fair price? I realize some of these are worth more according to comic price guides but to be honest, I don't care. I just want to unload them and have money to buy more building supplies.

I only know one store around me where I have seen people unload their comics for 'okay' pricing and it's the Comic Den in Mississauga. But give Big B's a shot first.

Yeah Dave,
Try www.bigbcomics.com and tell them I suggested you check them out.

I know the guys there, and we're constantly sending business back and forth.

They're good guys - if they need what you have!
