Hey guys,
I haven't posted here in awhile (or really much at all :) )but had a odd experience today that I know only fellow Canadian Joe fans will understand. I got my subscription figures today (joy) and I was reading the Jinx file card. There are 2 paragraphs, after the first paragraph I instinctively stopped reading because (obviously) the next paragraph was in French. It took me a few seconds to register that NO it wasn't and then laughed aloud because years of Canadian joe collecting pretty much trained my brain to only read the top half of the card.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who has done this?

I always have fun reading both sections... :P

Kyo, I'm bilingual so I've always read both parts of the filecards regardless.
...But I can relate to your story or to someone who never gave bizwacks about reading the french writing on a Canadian filecard. Little did you know that you were entirely missing the other half of the battle ---- Now you know ;D !

yup, I'm guilty of never reading the bottom half. must be my redneck upbringing. ;D

I was always curious if they did a translation that was word for word or if they actually made the French translation make sense by using the correct phrase. Plus I use it to see how bad my French as become from the lack of use. My 4 year old son knows more French then me :'(

Translation was pretty good. I don't remember bad wording.
