Star Wars price drop at Walmart, Also, Tron now in.
« on: October 15, 2010, 11:23:25 AM »

I was in Walmart yesterday and saw that the Star Wars figures in original pack down to $6.99 or something like that.

I also say the new Tron toys. Not bad. There was one guard dude that sort of reminded me of Black Ice meets a florescent light bulb. Tron figures will cost you about $10.00 a piece.

Still on wave 1 POC in my area.

Just when you think you're out...they pull you back in.

I had to get Grievous and Vader. Found Boba Fett in Zellers at ten bucks, but I haven't seen him in a W-M since July so I was happy enough to pay. It's taking great will power to not get the W-M exclusive AT-AT and Zellers Hoth sets. How am I supposed to afford all these awesome toys?!

The price drop on SW figs is great especially if you want the mail away Fett. Just buy the figures that you'd use for the AT-AT or Snowspeeder and Tie fighter or the other bounty hunters Vader sent after Han.

I need to find pilots for the Snow Speeder and TIE I bought at Zellers but didn't run into anyone who'd work at the Wal-mart sale. I know there's an AT-AT pilot out there, but are there appropriate TIE and Rebel pilots for the small vehicles that are on shelves now?

I saw the Tron figures today at Walmart and they are pretty damn cool.  They look compatible with Joes, but Im not sure, anyone get any and open them up?

My Wallys are picked over other than most difficult one for me to get at, so this sale is bittersweet. There are a bunch of common Saga and Vintage figs I want if anyone has a surplus at their local. I have Joes to trade. LMK

I really need:  AT-AT pilot, IG-88, Chewie, Bossk, Boussh, C3PO, R2D2, Snowspeeder Luke, Han Solo in Hoth parka

will trade 1 for 1 on most POC and ROC figs I have

The stuff I can't find seems to be the beginnings of the 2010 Saga stuff, all the ESB and current stuff I've seen, other than the Sandtrooper. I did take the W-M flyer into Zellers and did major damage, the cashier didn't seem thrilled but she let me have them for the 6.86 in Wally's flyer. :)

Saw a cool Tie Bomber at Walmart today.  Always wanted one but at $39.98 I'll pass.

not sure if tru's are restocking there star wars figs,  the flyer this week in ontario has 2 for $10 figs on starwars figs.  If they do hopefully these pop up for ya.  I do not collect star wars.  however, my son loves the star wars movies and the clone wars tv show.  I bought a few for him awhile back when Tru had they're last sale and picked up some of the harder ones to get then for him.  they had a wall of figs and cases kept on flowing out of the back for that one!
