Accesories worth???????????
« on: January 29, 2004, 04:06:53 PM »

I have often come across this topic...so why not give it a try here.

What are accessories worth when trading accessories for accessories??? That?s without considering the?

?I really need it because it?s the last one on my list?

?type of thing. I usually go army builder accessories straight across for one another...what do you think?for stuff like regular Joe accessories for army builder stuff.

Funny our last trades were like this. :D

Honestly, since I came online back in 1998, I have noticed that accessories are getting harder to find. Back then guys had a ton of websites with accessories that often average a buck a piece. Not any more. Too many people have joined the bandwagon. Most of the good accessories have dried up.  You either have to buy the figure complete or trade a ton to get it. I would trade army builder accessories (and have) for other accessories I needed (non army builder). Army builder accessories have become good trade bait.

That sucks, considering I need a buttload of accessories for my collection.

My latest thing is collecting a set of accessories...from 82 to about 88...

So I have these little bins full of everything, enough to complete about 80% of the figures released from 82 to 88...and there not for trade...

I hear ya Spillspleen.
I think most Joe collectors that have come in my store have drooled over my bins of original accessories..... the ones that aren't for sale. ;-)

I gave Ed (you have too many names dude) a chance to go through them one day - but he got busy.

I'm actually going to allow folks to 'dig into' them - at the meet.
As long as they have something from my LONG list of accessories. I need.:-)

Are these accessories for your personal collection or are you trying to complete a second set?

I am just glad that I have completed all my figures (minus the toilet paper called filecards) from 1982 to 2003. There are some variant accessories but I am not making an effort to find them.
