Hey there!

Looking at the haves/wants of some of y'all...wow!  I'm looking for almost everything as my collection is quite small (limited to 69 figures and about twenty vehicles and playsets)  I scour flea markets and yard sales for new adds for my collection, and have found a few here and there, but have mostly found vehicles in various states of disrepair, many that I don't recognize.  I'm sure you guys will, and it might be something you'eve looking for to complete or to customize.  I'll also bee bringing a few figures, waepons and booklets (catalogues, premium offers) that have manged to survive the last 20 years.  All in all, I look forward to meeting everyone and getting back in the swing of Joe collecting!

There is nothing wrong with your collection as I was in the same boat before.  Went through the phase of upgrading my busted figures first, then, getting all the figures I wanted as a kid, then getting the all the glory years (1984-1986) and then all of them (neon and all).

Some advice if you want to get back into the swing of things.  Avoid ebay if possible for common or easy to find items. You save on shipping and currency conversion with local dealers like BHT and with the 3 major toy shows in the GTA every year.  I just use ebay for harder to find items. It's just way cheaper in the end and you don't have to worry about duty tax (unless you know the loophole that I have used for over 4 years).

Ah  you don't suck.. all collections start  small .    It wasn't until  two years ago  that  mine took  to the shape  its in now.

all  it takes  is  patience,  time  and  some money

I have them on CD somewhere, but not on my PC anymore... not sure why.

MUCH larger.  Since that post, I've finished off figures from 82-86 and am working on 87-89.  Thankfully, I am not a completist, and have no interest in figures that came out in the 90's.  With vehicles, it was always more about what I thought was kewl...again, mostly from the early to mid 80's.  Unfortunately, I do not have them all displayed, as my office/studio is kinda packed, otherwise I would toss some pix up in "the showroom" section.  I do have a few pieces out, along with my other toys from the 70's and 80's...

Well, I'm pretty sure that I will not succumb to "Ugly-ass-neon-itis"....although some of the vehicles are pretty kewl...
