Anyone find the Ninja Combat Cruiser in Montreal yet?
Is that the newschool Humvee VAMP (HumVAMP?) redone in green and black for the movie line, with the Snow Cat's missile launcher on the back and the gullwing door panels?

That's the one.

Jay, there was one at TRU Pointe-Claire a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if it still there. I picked one up at TRU Brossard during one of the 25% off sales (came to about 18$). It's not a bad vehicle. I'm not sure how to use it yet.

OB
I saw a few at the St. Bruno TRU.

No Kre-I Joe blindbags at the St.-Bruno TRU, and the Brossard TRU still has the box of leftovers.  So if you need a Kamakura, dig in.

Thanks for the update!

I can't believe TRU St-Bruno still have nothing...
I was there with a friend.  We had to do the tour of the store about 3 times before even finding the tiny Joe section.  It's on a single endcap, NOT facing a main aisle.  Blink and you'll miss it!

The show is from 9am to 3pm. What do you guys think of this as a time window? Long enough? Too short?
Sounds good to me.

I also have the blindbags' ID codes, if anyone's interested.

Don't be shy... share them :-)

I'm back from TRU St-Bruno. They have everything! But, no Kre-o blind bags. I pick-up the Kre-o Checkpoint and the Ninja temple. They have all others, but I started with these.
If you're interested, I reviewed the ninja battle, Checkpoint, VAMP, and Platform sets on my blog.  I like what I see so far.

None at TRU St-Bruno, eh?  I guess I'll have to pay the Angrignon one a visit some time and see if they have 'em.

According to another toy forum, the codes are stamped somewhere on the bags and are a string of numbers.  The last two digits are the tells; they reveal with Kreon is inside.  So, I'll list the figures in order of their bags' last two digits:

-75 Alley Viper
-76 Ninja Viper
-77 Cobra Trooper
-78 Crimson Guard
-79 Dice
-80 Jinx
-81 Kamakura
-82 Quick Kick
-83 Rock N Roll
-84 Scarlett
-85 AT Commander, with Life-Like Hair and paradox accessory
-86 Torpedo

I can't confirm any of this myself, never having found them, but photos online seem to indicate that this information is accurate.  Good hunting!

Anyone seen the Kre-I Joe blindbags anywhere?  No sign of them at the Brossard TRU on Montreal's South Shore.
I also have the blindbags' ID codes, if anyone's interested.

Off Topic / I need your help, eh?
« on: October 19, 2012, 09:01:55 PM »
Hey, fellas, I was wondering if you could lend me a hand.  I'm working on a paper for a class I'm taking about the English language in Canada, and I'm writing about the use of the word "eh?"  Hard to get more stereotypically Canadian than that.

I just wanted to ask you guys these two questions.  If you could answer, it'd help me out greatly as I still need to collect some data.  Rest assured that I only need your answers, not your names or anything!

Thanks, hosers!

1) Do you use "eh?" in, e.g.: "So that's what he thinks?"
a) yes
b) no
c) sometimes

2) Do you use "eh?" for "What did you say?"
a) yes
b) no
