Toys'R'Us Kitchener had two cases of Wave 5 2008 comic packs out this morning.  They're all there minus 1 Destro & Iron Grenadier pack (I couldn't help myself).

Once again, thanks for the heads up. My credit card doesn't like you but my Joe collection does. I picked up one of each set. I've given up on keep one set of comic packs MOC and one to open. I'll still get the single figures MOC, but everything else I'm not keeping MOC anymore.

Thanks to Storm.Shadow, I checked out a TRU on the way back from a job site in the Toronto area.  I found the two of the three wave 5 packs there, times 2 sets each.  No CC and Tripwire packs were noted. 

I just bought both Iron Grenadier (IG) and Destro packs because of the IG.  You think these packs would have disapeared first instead of CC and Tripwire.

About three cases showed up at the St. Catharines TRU minus one of each CC/TW, LT/NE, D/IG.

I opened all three last night. I think the worst of the new batch is Falcon. He's boring. The IG is pretty neat even if the colours are wrong (not enough red), Nemesis Enforcer is pretty cool.

Hey stormy thanks for the heads-up, I went over to TRU during my lunch just now and picked up an Onyx Destro/IG pack.

Falcon looks f'd up and although I've heard great things about Nemisis, I'm just not interested in Cobra-La.  There were 3x CC/Trips packs

I have no interest in building an IG army even though they had about 4 packs on the pegs, however I hear this Onyx-head Destro is a variant and I'm using it purely as trade fodder

I agree.  Falcon is the worse of the bunch.

I don't mind less red for the IGs.  I still hate that red pistol the figure comes with, including the V1 version.  Who carries around a red pistol anyways?

Alex, I have an interest in army building the IGs.     What TRU did you find them in?  I assume the one up in Markham.

All the "good stuff" was gone from Kitchener Toys'R'Us.  All that was left were the Crimson Guard/Officer packs and the Storm Shadow/Snake Eyes sets.
