SAS Force, the sneaky bastard commandos. L-R Stalker, jeep driver (repaint of V1 Snake Eyes); Chopper, helo pilot; generic Attack Trooper; Beaver; Quickfire, commando; Eagle, Squad Leader; 'Playback' - a variant of Quickfire with a spare radio pack who's a VLBC; Stakeout; Hound and Rex (Attack Trooper minus backpack, with Junkyard from Joe and a different gun, another LBC); Sparrowhawk the paratrooper; Barracuda the frogman.

Nice - but where is Jammer?
I have a question though - their articulation is closer to vintage Star Wars. Is that where some of the molds came frmo?

Yeah, where is your Jammer, in Martin-Montreal's collection now ? :P I know last time I asked him he was still looking for one. It's great to see your Z-Force vehicles and that Mobat with Steeler and the RAM with Quarrel
-
i never had Jammer, he and Gaucho, the Gung-Ho repaint - came with the Command Centre, which i never had.
as a kid, all the Z stuff, the SAS Panther, SAS MMS, Boat Patrol, Eagle, Barracuda and Quickfire were all i had. I've added the Shad force, Q and Space Force and Beaver, Chopper, Sparrowhawk and the Attack Trooper and the two customs. i've also got the Z Attack Cannon (FLAK repaint) and the Dart and Shaft (Z repaints of the PACRAT Flamethrower and missile launcher), but the Shaft's legs are broke.
my AF wants list is solely for the Space Force Cosmic Cruiser and a Shadwotrak.
RE: the parts, AFAIK the parts are all original to AF. a LOT of the UK AF figures in this part of the range are redecos and body-swaps from the first AF series which was basically mini-Action Man figures. the white 'Arctic Assault' and the brown 'Ground Assault' seen in the group shot and the green-suited Helicopter Pilot are all Series 1. - Chopper was a recoloured Helo Pilot, whilst Surfer uses the -Assault head, legs and arms with the torso of the 'Commando' - which they used whole cloth redeco'd as Quickfire, Stakeout and Tracker. Skip was redone from the '2 Para' and 'Royal Marine' figures (Para came from RM), Eagle was a redone 'SAS' figure and Barracuda is the S1 'SAS Frogman' with added 'SAS Force' logo. the Z jeep was a recoloured S1 jeep, whilst said jeep's detachable boat was recoloured to become the SAS Boat Patrol.

Awesome. I love seeing unique things. Thanks for posting.
...our APC gunner lid doesn't flip up like that, does it?
-
I like 'em. Some nice shots, I've not seen too many close up shots of these guys and yours look brand new.
-
I love this line, here's what I have so far:
Laser Exterminator-MISB
SAS Panther-MISB
Z RAM-MISB
Hyena Tank-MISB
sorry no pics (everything's boxed), but I'm moving in my new house soon (november) and I'll get a Joe room for the first time! ;D I'm going to take a lot of pics then..
Very nice pictures btw Sundance.. I love these guys!
-
the think you have to remember as well about the AF stuff repainted from US stuff is, it goes for £££££ on the bay because of all these f***ing US collectors who want 'UK/European exclusive repaint' figures/vehicles. they don't think Red Laser is a seperate character, to them he's 'UK exclusive repaint Cobra Commander' for example.
-
Err nope, for me Red Laser IS Red Laser! Same thing for all the AF characters..
-
My "AF" consists of this year's US JoeCon Paratrooper Flint and the Z-Cycle.
-
Beautiful collection in great shape. I picked up a bunch of figures at a Boot sale when I was over there, but none are that good or complete. (Except a MOC Muton I picked up.) ;D
-
-
MOC Mutons are ten-a-penny apparently. i don't have one because i don't have any MOC of any kind.

SAS Force MMS and Panther.
-
That is a great collection!
-
(http://http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i80/capcalhoun/gijoewallpaper/mms2.jpg)
How rare is that MMS? I had the opportunity to get one a the CanJoeCon, but it was MIB. I'm more collecting loose now.
Martin
-
dunno, they turn up every so often on eBay UK, often paired with the Panther even though they were sold seperately.
-
I don't think I've ever seen a close up shot of that mms. That sucker is sweet.
-
Hey Sundance, these toys are for sale eh? ;D I want that MMS.. I love the color scheme!

If you really want one, I know the dealer who had one MIB at the con (but not MISB).
-
Sundance, that is a really nice collection there. I'd love to see an interior shot of the ATC since you mentioned that it's different.
Man, if Hasbro would release some of those guys in 25th style or maybe in a summer 7-pack boxset (the most popular Action Force characters and IronBlood, Black Major and 5 Red Shadow troop builders) I'd be allllll over it.

That would be cool. I would like to see prices more like the extreme conditions packs though.

they should do a 5-figure set of Eagle, Sparrowhawk, Quickfire, Barracuda and Stakeout; SAS Force Attack Trooper as an army builder; an SAS jeep and driver; a 5-figure set of Skip, The Doc, Scout, Jammer and Gaucho; the Z Force infantryman as an army builder; a new Z jeep and driver and a 5-figure set of Ironblood, Black Major, Red Laser, Wilder Vaughn and Dela Eden; a Red Shadow army builder and a new Shadowtrak with Red Vulture.
then do a Q Force set of Shark, Surfer, Dolphin, Phones and Leviathan and a Q Force army builder and then a Space Force set of Sky Raider, Kiwi, Hawkwind, Moon Dancer and Hot Jets and a Space Force army builder.

bought a new figure for the first time in years. literally. this is 2 Para from the 1982 series of Action Force when they were literally just 3.75in scale Action Man outfits.
