Thanks for the info Sundance!  But now I'm even more confused... Cobra Commander disappears half-way through the series (he was presumed dead in continuity) and Starscream's only appearance is a cameo that takes place after that.  Seems SDCC should've made a Dirge Skystriker and Serpentor pilot, as they were the most prominent Decepticon Seeker/Cobra Leader in the comics!

i shouldn't worry about it much. it's not tied into GI Joe continuity and it's barely worth bothering with in TF continuity except for providing the US explanation for Bumblebee's transformation (arf) into Goldbug.

it's actually a pretty pony and trap story...
