Title: I got a hate on for the Darkside!!!
Post by: Spillspleen on April 20, 2004, 10:22:27 PM: First off can I post this here...lol...I will not mention names...just attitudes of those from the darkside...!!!

I really got to stop reading some of the posts on sites based on the dark side of the force!!

Why O why are there so many assh*les on these sites ???

I know all populations in every country are made up off good guys and bad...and so on and so forth but north of the boarder it has to be close to 50% ass!!

Some many outspoken people and they cause trouble in so many ways...if you do not agree go ride a train in Spain and feel the results of the darkside!!!

Anyways....there is this one post on YoJoe...one guy tried something out and it works...whitening yellowing plastic...this topic sure brought out the dorks?and I mean dorks?!!!

First off there are the people who read something once and believe it as gospel?!!!
I thought this went out with the dark ages?but not on the darkside!!!

Then people who listen to one person with a PHD and what they say is beyond an opinion and it is infact the word of a god!!!
Again, wtf, one person repeating something he does not even know?he does not know it?he learnt it?so there is a difference?why does one person opinion, even someone educated mean anything? Education gives you validity but not certainty.

Next are the ones who do not even collect G.I.Joe who claim they are an expert because the read forums on other toy boards which make them so!!!
Again?.WTF?just because you read a post by a ?know it all? does not make you anything other than a ?know it all? your self!!!

Lastly were the few who tried out the procedure...some good opinions?and they had some good feedback?they posted their good will?they were the minority but they did post!!

Anyways the long and short of it?it was like being fed to the wolves!!!!

I really hope this community can stay positive and avoid becoming a mockery of all collectable sites. I hope that when people post here they can at least remain positive and show some support for those trying to improve the community.

Here's a guy that not only solved a problem, but also showed actual results to prove his statement and he's getting stoned-to-death by all these people flaunting their science degrees. As I read further in the thread, more knuckleheads join in to deny that guy.

Pete and Mike, sooner or later, these type of people might leak into our fine board (knock on wood). As mods, we'll have to be prepared for situations like that by acting as diplomatic Mounties. Due South's Paul Gross will be our good example.

It's great...... but have a window open. Pete can attest to this.
We removed all the AT logos and U.S. flags on the JoeCanuck figures.... felt a little 'woozy' afterwards.
