For those Whovians amongst us, happy 50th to Doctor Who!
Did anyone watch "an adventure in space and time" last night?
A touching tribute to the first 3 years of the series. A series created by a Canadian! :D I gave it 2 Jellybabies up!
I lucked out and got tickets to see the 50th anniversary episode in the cinema. Can't wait to see it!!! (I just hope it stands up to all the expectations!)

Kinda bummed out that I can't watch it in the theater since the store is open during it. But already looking forward to watching it with my wife tonight when I get home.

It's good.
Both the Adventures in Time and Space and the Day of the Doctor have some grand adventure, with a bit of twinkle. Pop pop pop! ;)

DOTD was AWESOME.
-
Both were great.
The surprise appearance at the end of DOTD was just awesome. Especially the - Who "nose". ;)

I was so Happy that they did that! DOTD was EXCELLENT!!!! I can't wait to see more of Season 8!

I'll admit I've never even watched a single episode in my life.

It also raises the question "Can the Doctor regenerate back into a previous version?"
And yeah, I got excited when that happened (Trying to avoid spoilers for people here).
I loved all the nods to the past 50 years. Even the school that Clara was teaching at - it was in the very first episode of Doctor Who 50 years ago.
I've been playing the 50th show on a loop in the store all day. ;)

It's not for everyone, but if you wanted to check it out, start in 2005. 2006/07 was some of the best written TV I've ever watched, and the way they interweave the storylines all the way through to 2012 is amazing.

and the name on the sign of the chairman of the governors was the first male companion Ian Chesterton.

Have a good look again at the opening titles. While the Doctor is dangling from the TARDIS, and Jenna Coleman's name appears on the screen, there's a Canadian flag in the background... Is it a tip of the hat to Sydney Newman's Canadian heritage?

A part of our heritage! (now that's a clip they NEED to make.)

If I remember correctly the CBC were involved with the making of some of the episodes.

So many nods and I am sure I missed much more. But they did a great job all around.
