Sounds like we are going to see a wasteland for the holiday season and beginning of 2013.  It seems what we see is what we get for the foreseeable futrure.

I wonder if people will be so impatient that they will drive the prices up for the wave 1, and possibly 2 stuff?

I hate to be one of "those" people, but I actually am glad because I can wait.  Outside of a few figures and 1 or 2 vehicles I wasn't too needy about getting the movie stuff.  I wonder if we will see any sales on the product now, or if the stores will just sit on what they have?

I really did not want the movie product anyway, but it is frustrating that we will have 9 months to get those figures + how long until we get something of the PoC caliber (if any).

I'm passing on the March 2013 figs and will put the money into customs, Oktober Guard, FSS and CJC.  None of those are made by Hasbro.....what a waste.

And they are out now, at your local Toys R Us. Mind you the guy told me "That's all we have". In Kitchener that breaks down to 7 cases of wave 1 stuff and a bunch of vehicles.

Here's the break down @ TRU off the top of my head:

Figures = $10.99
Hiss Tank and Ghost Hawk = $21.99
Bravo Vehicles = $16.99
Motorcycles = $14.99.
3 packs = $29.99

Big goofy figures and costumes I didn't look at.

Stock is limited. I think Hal has more inventory.

I may (or may not) regret it later, but I am still planning on sitting this out.

I called my local TRU and the nice and confused lady told that they only have the small figures.
I asked her if they were actual figures from the movie and she told me that a few figures seems to be new.
I'm afraid that I might only find a Blowtorch and Stalker.

Mate, I got a baaaaaad feeling about this.  Seems like Artic Destro is in your future.  Good luck though, hope you get something good.

I remember calling TRU in the '80s for the WWF figures.  It was sort of like, "Okay, you have King Kong Bundy.....MOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, we need to go NOWWWWWWWWWWW"  I remember running through the aisles like Navy Seal Team 6 to secure my precious wrestler figures.

Other sites are reporting that Hasbro wants the Retaliation figs back from the retailers...

http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118054684 (http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118054684)

I hope this is not true but a marketing gimmick to trick us to buy everything on the shelves.

Why?  The product is simply not very good, mate.

I'don't think they are that bad but I have not open my figs yet to confirm.  The news will just make everyone rush to buy everything in site.

Variety may be an insider for Hollywood, but I wouldn't give that article very much credence.

It reads like speculation more than anything.  They "contacted" store managers?  Really?  A store manager is responsible for one store, a decision like that would be corporate.  Try talking to Hasbro, or TRU corporate.

As stated in the article, Hasbro put out a statement, and I'll take that as fact for now unless proven otherwise.

I think the original, "what's there is all for now" is the truth of the situation.

I'm with Canprime. What' out is out. Who's going to spend the money of shipping, taking inventory of who shipped what back, and man hours related to getting it all back? Hasbro won't pay for that and neither will the stores.

Get what you can, while you can.

To be honest, I don't have any.  But I was really turned off about the packaging, filecards and lame-o accessories, so I decided to pass unless there was a really cool figure (e.g. Blind Master).

I have heard people complain about the plastic being "soft".  Don't know if that is true, but I have a baaaaaaad feeling about them.

Not a good sign, but Toys on Fire changed their pre order date to January 2013.

Considering TOYS R US has them on the shelves right now I believe Variety got it wrong.

But did you see them at Walmart or Zellers?

I've seen 'em at both TRU and WM.

Looks like TRU is carrying all items.

However, the WM I was at, stock is much smaller. 2 cases of figs, motorcycles with figs, no 3 packs, no vehicles. Looks to be a lot less compared to the first movie...that or they didn't put everything out.

Not sure if stores are going to restock...guess it depends on how much inventory of wave 1 was ordered by the retailers.

Don't see a recall happening.
