Title: Legends: The 5$ bin.
Post by: Jay on April 26, 2005, 10:37:26 AM
Legends seems to have acquired themselves a bin full of loose toys for 5$ each. I got a Funskool Toxo-Viper and a Nunchuk ver3 on Sunday. Here's what else I remember being in that bin:
Funskool Wild Bill
Funskool Blocker
2000 Duke
Shipwreck (blue hat and shirt)
Mindbender (maroon shirt and cape)
Scalpel
Gung-Ho (one of the new sculpt ones)
Duke (with that funky helmet)
T-crotch Storm Shadow (first edition)
T-crotch Snake-Eyes (repaint, black/brown/green)
T-crotch Frostbite
T-crotch Destro (aka Constipated Mask Destro)
2002 Mirage
Original Blizzard, with only his helmet (needs a new rubber band)

This is all I can remember seeing. They also had old X-Men, Star Wars and other stuff in that bin.

Sounds like an interesting development. If they get a variety of vintage stuff in, I might become a regular $5 bin junkie.

Well, if they hit the garage sales, they might stock it up.
I initially picked up the Funskool Wild Bill, god knows why, but yesterday I exchanged it for the Nunchuk figure, which I'm trading with someone for a minty fresh Navy SEAL Guile figure.   :D

Well, today I went to check their 5$ bin, picked up the AWE Striker Pathfinder, the 2002 Slice and a minty complete 1991 Overkill.

They didn't seem to have anything new as far as JvC, ST and VvV went. I forgot to check for their vintage toys... Silly me...  :?

5 dollar bin. lol. It's like Chinook out in Calgary with the 5 dollar ziplocked bagged figures.  And these figures are mostly in rough shape.

It's kinda like that, though all the figures I got from that bin so far are in good shape. Some of the larger toys seemed to have seen better days though.
