Don't make the mistake I did.  Brossard's Dix-30 Walmart isn't worth checking out.  I didn't find a single Joe item: figures, vehicles, roleplay, you name it.  Nothing.  Guess they moved fast, eh?

The only Joe figure left at the Brossard Zellers on Taschereau is a Renegades Cobra Commander, but he's on sale.  Hell, all the toys are 20%.  They have stuff like the movie vehicles, too.  And the Cycle Armour if you enjoy mediocrity.  They have the Ghost Hawk Mark II for $15.  I might have to pick one up for customizing. (Kyle Katarn's Moldy Crow, anyone?)

Aw heck, I was just in the area yesterday and I didn't bother to check!  Thanks for the heads up; I'll check them out this week.

I'll be there, disguised as a Creeper from Minecraft.  Give me a shout if you see me, but I won't drop you any Gunpowder.

Anyone see the Ninja Combat Cruiser around?
Haven't seen it around, sorry.

Saw some of the Retaliation figures at the Archambault in the Champlain Mall in Brossard.  I think they were $11.99 each.  I bought a book instead.

That's not an oxymoron, it's an understatement.  Another case of "lolzellers," eh?

Brossard Zellers has the Mark II VAMP and the Black Dragon (is that what it's called?  I didn't get a good look at the box), but I didn't see the prices.

Thx for the heads-up Numbers!
No problem!  Just doin' my part.

Yearly CanJoeCon Discussion / Re: Ask Hasbro - CanJoeCon 2012 Edition
« on: July 10, 2012, 12:45:14 PM »
Great, thanks for doing this! Here are my questions (which probably echo the sentiments of alot of us):

When will the Wave of “Dollar ” GI Joe figures (available at Dollar General stores in the US) be available in Canada and at what stores?

Will we see any waves of figures available in Canada before Christmas? Specifically any more 30th anniversary waves / figures (Sci-Fi, Renegades Storm Shadow, Lifeline, etc).

With TARGET about to open in Canada in 2013 can we expect better GI JOE selection on their shelves?

GI JOE always seems to be the least restocked Hasbro Action Figure line (when compared to Star Wars, Marvel & Transformers) at Toys R US, Wal-Mart and Zellers. Why is this and what can we as fans/collectors do to help GI JOE be more available at retail in Canada?
These are fantastic and cover the question I was going to ask.

Glad to help, Shark!

Oh, and, uh... Brossard TRU has the AWE Strikers, too, it seems!

Brossard TRU has movie stuff.

Single-carded figures at $10.99 (underequipped/articulated and overpriced :-\)
Hauser with rocket launcher, Roadblock, Snake-Eyes, Joe guy with a Halo-esque helmet, Cobra Commander, Cobra Trooper, Zartan, Storm Shadow, and a Red Ninja.

Only $16.99 vehicle is the swamp boat.

The larger vehicles (I think they were $21) are the Ghost Hawk Mark II and the newschool HISS Tank.

There are two sets of figure 3-packs, one with Kamakura, Night Ops Roadblock and sweet-looking Beachhead, another with Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, and a Red Ninja.

There were also a few roleplay items like a Snake-Eyes disguise kit (Zartan, eat your heart out) and a missile-launching sidearm whose grip becomes the handle of a bayonet.

There were two rider-on-bike vehicles, but I chose to ignore them.
