Someone owes me money.

YEARS ago I had a long conversation with someone and we suggested all the games that could be GI Joe based. Monopoly was one, Risk was another, Connect Four as well (Stars and Cobra Logos). Not to mention a chess board (which I would totally buy), and a ton of other things.

They made an excellent Indiana Jones Monopoly(Walmart exclusive).  It came in a wooden crate and included movie artifacts and locations.

If GIJoe is anything like this I'll be looking to buy it.  And as Mike said I would love to see a Joe/Cobra chess set.  !Hello Franklin Mint!

There can be only one.  One true GIJoe that is!

GI Joe Risk would rock so hard!  Or Stratego.

I wonder what the properties are going to be.  And the "houses"...  maybe troops.

Hmm.

I will be getting the monopoly, and I agree if there was a good chess set released I would for sure pick that up!

Nice to see Flint on the cover. Actually, it's nice that everything is 80s/25th based designs.

I agree 100%. When i clicked through to look at it i totally expected to see a movie based monopoly. I was stunned and really pleased to see the classic style art work. Now if only they would re-release that giant gi joe board game from the 80s. I think  i still have a few of the cut out character pieces from that.

The 12' collectors must be upset that they have been totally skipped over. The movie - 3 3/4. The Monoploy - 3 3/4. The comic - 3 3/4, The new cartoon - 3 3/4. Heck, 3 3/4 even had a cereal once.

No love for the Adventure Team.

Yeah what about the At...
Seems like Hasbro think that the ARAH characters have more marketing potential than the bearded adventurers

Faceplate CC's head
Timber
Thunder Machine
U.S.S. Flagg

Anyone heard of any more?

wow, that's cool.   I also expected it would be based off the damn movie before I looked at the link and read the responses but that was a nice surprise!   I have the regular old Monopoly at home and this is the first of the "spin offs" reflecting other properties that I've actually wanted.

$5 says there will be a movie inspired Monopoly before Christmas too, I'd be really surprised if it didn't happen.   I'll pass on that one though.
