Variety may be an insider for Hollywood, but I wouldn't give that article very much credence.

It reads like speculation more than anything.  They "contacted" store managers?  Really?  A store manager is responsible for one store, a decision like that would be corporate.  Try talking to Hasbro, or TRU corporate.

As stated in the article, Hasbro put out a statement, and I'll take that as fact for now unless proven otherwise.

I think the original, "what's there is all for now" is the truth of the situation.

I'm with Canprime. What' out is out. Who's going to spend the money of shipping, taking inventory of who shipped what back, and man hours related to getting it all back? Hasbro won't pay for that and neither will the stores.

Get what you can, while you can.

Why?  The product is simply not very good, mate.

I'don't think they are that bad but I have not open my figs yet to confirm.  The news will just make everyone rush to buy everything in site.

To be honest, I don't have any.  But I was really turned off about the packaging, filecards and lame-o accessories, so I decided to pass unless there was a really cool figure (e.g. Blind Master).

I have heard people complain about the plastic being "soft".  Don't know if that is true, but I have a baaaaaaad feeling about them.

Not a good sign, but Toys on Fire changed their pre order date to January 2013.

Considering TOYS R US has them on the shelves right now I believe Variety got it wrong.

But did you see them at Walmart or Zellers?

I've seen 'em at both TRU and WM.

Looks like TRU is carrying all items.

However, the WM I was at, stock is much smaller. 2 cases of figs, motorcycles with figs, no 3 packs, no vehicles. Looks to be a lot less compared to the first movie...that or they didn't put everything out.

Not sure if stores are going to restock...guess it depends on how much inventory of wave 1 was ordered by the retailers.

Don't see a recall happening.
