Dio props to consider (lots of pics)

Something I also posted on Joecustoms, but would want to share with my fellow canuckers.
For a while now, I've been collecting things here and there that are to scale with GIJoes. Here's some pics of things I collected that I'd like to share with y'all.

Rement is this Japanese candy toy company that makes tons of great miniature food products such as sushi, hamburgers, fruits and vegetables, and tons more. It'll be simple to say they have a large catalogue. They also have a furniture set series as seen below. Rement products can be found at jbox.com and asian food markets in the candy section. Toy and candy stores in Pacific Mall and First Markham Place are the only places I know in Ontario that sells these products at decent prices ($5-8 a set).
This is the Japanese-traditional set.

The fish dish is from the Journey of Sake Sellar set.

Sushi rolls set is from the Puchi sample series.

The Northern European set. Notice the iBook.

The couch and record are from a retro-style set. The name of the set escapes me.

I will openly admit that Lil Bratz clothes and accessories work well with GIJoes. Their clothes look cool on most of my female gashapon figures. Wal-Mart was selling their Lil Bratz fashion mall for $15. I replaced their Bratz sticker designs and made my own to give the mall a euro-boutique setting.

The bar accessories are from Rement's Bar Times set, which is one of my faves because of the 1:18 scale Jack Daniels, Corona, and Smirnoff bottles. The bar stand is another highlight of the set.

While I was in Germany, I noticed they have a huge interest in model trains. Half of their toy stores are filled with trains and train accesssories. The brick and tile patterns and the tunnel wall make great additions to 1:18 dios.

The diner tables and chairs are from the Bar Times set. The sub sandwich and others are also products done by Rement.

The female figures are frankenstein gashapon figures by Kaiyodo and Bandai.

Those are really cool - but how come Cobra doesn't get to hang out in that cocktail bar?

If you don't mind having your store modeled after a Bratz shop.  :D

So I hit walmart last night to um, copy you,  :D and found that all 30 or so malls that they had in stock last week are now gone, along with all the limos and the bowling alley.

You caused a run on the market!

Zellers doesn't seem to be carrying the mall, but they do have some of the bowling alleys.  Maybe you could use the beauty shop base for a BHT dio. ;-)
