Sponsors Wanted : Joe Canuck Trading Cards

(1/2) > >>

BHMike:
As many of you have seen, last year JoeCanuck.com launched a line of free trading cards. These cards were based on the past Canadian Joe Meet / Canadian G.I. Joe Convention figures and artwork.

Each card showcased the artwork for each figure (done by our own Loop), or a photo image of the actual figure (one done so far, image by General Hawk of Generalsjoes.com).

With the Canadian G.I. Joe Convention coming up in two months time, we'll be printing off another 4 cards from our trading card set. (Making it 10 cards in total).

These cards will be the following:

"Live" Joe Canuck

"Live" Shiver

"Live" Snowbank (perhaps with a differernt image)

"Live" Timbit

Up until now - we've paid for these cards to be made ourselves.

Because I know the person printing them for us, he's (at times) increased the print run from 500 cards to 1000, or somewhere between. - this only happens when he's on an end of a roll and has the extra space.

Doing so many over time can get pricey, considering we ship them out for free as well. (yes, I know, we're behind on shipping some - you'll get them soon!)

With the "Live" Black Ice card, I offered sponsorship to two people that have helped out JoeCanuck.com tremendously in the past, General Hawk and Stealth Viper. But now, I'm opening it up to everyone, everywhere.

If you own a store, you're welcome to sponsor a card!
If you own a web site, you're welcome to sponsor a card!
If you want to "go in" on a card with some friends, you're welcome to sponsor a card!

The only exception is that you can not co-sponsor a card together if you are a store or site (or both) example: No Generals Joes & YoJoe.com co-sponsorship, or no JoeArmory & JoeCustoms co-sponsorship).

The bottom line here is that without people/stores/site, etc sponsoring these cards, we won't be finishing off the set (with more cards to come after CanJoeCon'09)

Sponsorship is relatively cheap - and the more cards we order, the cheaper it gets. That's why I'd like to ensure we get all 4 cards done and paid for at once so we can get a cheaper rate.

This is what the sponsored card would appear like on the back - with your logo, name etc.

You would also receive a hefty portion of the cards you sponsor to dispose of at your leisure if you'd like! We'll also send you a bunch of doubles from the previous runs to include with any orders, trades or other items you mail out. You can also leave these at toy shows, conventions, and comic shops!

If you're interested, please send me a PM via the message board, or email me at contact@joecanuck.com for more information. Act quickly, there's only 4 spots available, and I've had 3 emails in the past few months inquiring about them. ;-)

While you're at it, post your comments on what you think of these newest cards!

B:
Nice, that Timbit is a man's man. I really like the Shiver card, looks like he was coming down a hill and just spotted the guy holding the camera  :)

BHMike:
All the photos were done by General Hawk (Generalsjoes.com).
Except Timbit.... Hawk doesn't own a Timbit. So I snapped that one.

I have 3 people/sites interested in sponsorship - thusfar, only JoeCanuck has been asked to be held.

Until payment shows up for any of them however, all cards are still "technically" available.
PM me for info. I'd like to go to get these run off this weekend coming up.

BHMike:
UPDATE:

The Shiver card is now spoken for.
There is a tentative HOLD on the JoeCanuck card - I'm awaiting a final answer.
Snowbank and Timbit are both available, but there is interest on Snowbank as well.

If you're considering being a sponsor or a co-sponsor, act quickly before these ones are taken up!

BHMike:
SNOWBANK is taken.
SHIVER is taken.
JOECANUCK is "on hold" until tomorrow, if I get no reply, he's available again.

TIMBIT - Free as a bird. Poor guy, no one wants him??
