My Wallys are picked over other than most difficult one for me to get at, so this sale is bittersweet. There are a bunch of common Saga and Vintage figs I want if anyone has a surplus at their local. I have Joes to trade. LMK

I really need:  AT-AT pilot, IG-88, Chewie, Bossk, Boussh, C3PO, R2D2, Snowspeeder Luke, Han Solo in Hoth parka

will trade 1 for 1 on most POC and ROC figs I have

I like the Star Wars boxes they're using lately, the stuff goes right back in for storage and the boxes look great, especially the Vintage themed. It took me a while to decide but I think I'll insist on the vintage collection box when I get one.

By all means, the figure is fantastic for what it is, and the card art is great. I am just not seeing that much demand on it, and running into it in all the Zellers and Wal-marts I go into. I think Snow Job might be rarer in my city.

London TRU had the big bin out finally and I snagged a lot of trade fodder and personal wants. It was the first time I'd seen a Desert Viper at retail, and I got five!

They must have had some strange corporate deal on the Target packs from last year that they'd end up overpriced nationally, and that even 10 months later we are not seeing them at a decent price. I would call them on the shenanigans I saw today if I really needed the sets, but I cashed in on Midnight Madness last Xmas and I have all I need (got at 15 bucks at the time). I just assume Zellers managers in general are somewhat clueless and don't care about the toy section.

Get this, it's a howler: at my neighborhood Z's they had the four Target packs on the clearance table. The stickers on them were odd, so odd I figured it was a mistake. The price was 31.99, with two dollars "clearance" to make them 29.99! Clearly a mistake, I checked the item at the scanner. $29.99! This store has had them at that price for a year almost, I don't believe they were ever marked up to 32 bucks. At least the single figs are reasonably priced, some Zs in London had 25th stuff at 12.99 a couple years ago. :(

I will have to double check... around 14 so far... I think I will stop at 15 :shifty:

Dude, I think you picked a bad figure to hoard. No offense, but who is going to want them? I traded one when it was considered rare, but now I don't suppose it's in any more demand than any of the other single packed figs, and he's coming out in a revision in USA, so probably here too. Hopefully you can take them back if you feel you're stuck on 130 dollars worth of ROC repaints.

I had this in the cart today...but I'd spent 150 earlier getting all the Target exclusive ESB stuff at Zellers. The guilt of buying this too would have kept me from enjoying it. I told my wife I need it, but it isn't something I can buy for myself in good conscience. Hopefully the ESB box version will come down in price sometime before xmas. I'd love to get that as a present. The last AT-AT I bought was like seven dollars at a garage sale, and I loved it more than pretty much anything I've ever found at one of those sales. I remember playing with it in the front yard and getting lots of compliments on it (this was in 1989 so no one had seen one in a while I guess!).

I need to find pilots for the Snow Speeder and TIE I bought at Zellers but didn't run into anyone who'd work at the Wal-mart sale. I know there's an AT-AT pilot out there, but are there appropriate TIE and Rebel pilots for the small vehicles that are on shelves now?

Just when you think you're out...they pull you back in.

I had to get Grievous and Vader. Found Boba Fett in Zellers at ten bucks, but I haven't seen him in a W-M since July so I was happy enough to pay. It's taking great will power to not get the W-M exclusive AT-AT and Zellers Hoth sets. How am I supposed to afford all these awesome toys?!

I hate that. As a kid, as now, I figure if I can't afford a Joe, I can't have it. Why can't everyone just accept this?

nice info about the W2 vehicles, I'm eager to run into them but have had no luck yet

I found two Jungle Vipers at a W-M in London last week but haven't had much luck other than a couple Alley Vipers here and there. Cobra Commander and the other short packed W1 guys are starting to stagnate around here finally but the army builders are scarce. I've got five of each so I think I'm good, I can scout for more though if anyone is having a hard time getting out to stores.
