Post by: Prince de Lu on March 11, 2012, 12:31:02 PM
When I posted the WIP of my Striker, somebody suggested to to a SlaveStriker, it gave me an idea, not a plane, but based on the rhino.. here's what the Cobra Slave will look like.

again, what do you think

It's very nice, but looks too much like something from Star Wars (rather than a mix of both worlds).  Would you consider the Slave paint scheme on a Rattler?

Again, this is all very cool stuff. On a Star Wars-gijoe related note, I always thought the overall appearance of the 1986 Tomahawk to have been a little more influenced by Boba Fett's Slave, rather than by an actual Tomahawk. I think it's mostly because of the big canopy. Maybe some of the Gi joe designers had good friends at ILM too, who knows.
