Canadian Convention Figures
« on: December 14, 2008, 12:23:15 AM »

Are there enough figures being produced to go around for this years convention? I would like to get one for myself and one for my brother who is unable to attend. From the past years I see production of at most 30 figures. How many are being produced for this year? Do we have to pre-register for them? Also do we have to pre-register for the convention?

The figure run has been increased this year, that is 100% guaranteed.
The only way to get one is to arrive at the Convention early as they are first come, first get.

No pre-registration as of yet. News will be posted shortly about the 2009 Canadian Joe Con.

I have tried to find past convention figures on Ebay with no luck. Is there any other way to get them?

Nope, one is ebayed off to help pay for the next meet, and usually goes between $300 and $400. I know that offers have been made for $1000 for certain numbers. One went on BIN for about $250 or so US - but most people agree it was undervalued...

Generally people who get hold of them don't let go of them.
