Title: This is nuts.
Post by: Stealth Viper on August 15, 2008, 10:30:34 AM
There must be a lot of collectors (or scalpers) in the St. Catharines area.

I was at my walmart by work yesterday at 1pm. No joes.

I was at the same one at 9:30am this morning, and they had put out a case of the vehicles - only the HISS was left.

So between 1pm and 9:30am, they put out a case and sold all but 1. I'm guessing they put them out over night, and someone grabbed the other three first thing this am

Scalpers tend to go first thing in the morning, right when the store opens.  This could be the case here.

scan eBay for any suspicious HISS tanks coming out of the St. Catherine's area - wont do any good, but at least it might confirm the scalper theory.

I don't know, at 20$+ a piece plus shipping I think scalpers would be hard pressed to actually make any money off of these.

might just be the local comic book shop...  I know the border towns around here get raided by Comic book shops all the time...
