The GIJoe Collectors Club is offering the canceled mail-in version of the POC Cobra Commander with Hiss drone in its club store. The sad part is the only shipping option for Canadians right now is Fed-Ex at $50

I finally had time to read the lisitng carefully now. DAMN it is a Pre-Order! They are said:
This item is scheduled to ship within 4 weeks of

And may cut my order down if they decide to limit the amounts...
My excitement has turned to worry... I may have to disappoint someone, if they limit me.

This little drone makes me wish they would bring back the little diecast GIJoe vehicles.

I don't know if this is appropriate to say on a GI Joe board, but my only comment on this is... "oh, it's cute!".
I'm not a fan, I hope I won't change my mind in few.. years!

I really wanted them to do a Titanium line for GI Joe. The star wars titaniums were pretty awsome for the most part. Given that GI Joe was a great vehicle line, a modern smaller scale line would have been awsome.
As for the CC, the drone is kinda cool, but the figure is certainly not worth the price for me. Of course I couldn't stand the regular release figure, so that's not a surprise. :) Incidentally, i saw 2 of the regular release red carded CC on the pegs in uxbridge last week. I hadn't been there in a few months, and they're still there!!

The drone has an amazing level of detail for such a small scale! I wasn't planning on getting it, but now, I might try for one.

Now that the postal strike is over you can get that fig with out paying for FEDEX. If I waited I could have saved a bundle! It is still cheaper at the Club, but if you do not have the Officer discount then buy from BBTS.
