That's a good question. Maybe the staff walking the line can take that stuff from the early birds and anyone that comes later can just add it to the table when they show up.

OK, I'm thinking of bringing a terrordrome to give out if I have the room in the car.  But I don't really want to have it swiped up by the biggest dude in the room who bum rushes the table.  The idea behind it is to give it to some collector who's always wanted one of these.  Would it be way too naive for me to ask it be only taken by someone who doesn't already have it?  Just to clarify, the drome isn't complete, but it's not a shell either, it's got most of the important parts.

Although a Terrordrome would raise the bar for freebie table, I could see it starting a fight.
How about this, Roshan: we could hold a special raffle for your Terrordrome. The money will be added to the charity donation and we'll arrange a special credit for you.

Sounds fine to me.

Is the Terror Drome complete? or incomplete?

It is incomplete so I wouldn't feel good having put money in, unless it was like a suggested donation jar for the charity.  I've got five extra terrordromes in the basement (used to have a massive diorama dream with these that died long ago when my wife decided I couldn't have the whole basement for my toys ;)  ) and I could try to get it as complete as I can using the other pieces.  There is no firebat with it, but I suppose if someone could donate a 25th firebat it would fit in fine to make it look good.  My stores locally don't have one at the moment.

I like Scramble's idea. It's noble and will have everyone who wants it have a fair chance at it. Anyone who would put money into the raffle would be okay as long as It's exhibited for everyone to see. I know I would put some money into it because It is bottom line a Terrordrome, one of the Holy Grail of Gi Joe and a lot of us would already recognize that acquiring it from the Convention will more than cut down those exorbitant shipping fees we might have to pay if we get it shipped from the States.

I'll buy a few tickets for that as long as the money goes to the hospital. Can we keep the cost of tickets down to like 50 cents a ticket?

And yes, I've never owned one of those and always wanted one.

I recently got two for very cheap, I gave the extra one to a buddy of mine, so far, its just sitting.

They are a hard find in my area, but five in a basement, I can see why, :)  I need a basement like that.
