2012 CJC Comic Cover Reveal : Robert Atkins

You know, of all the convention set this year I think I'm most looking forward the the comic.
Jay's art looks like it's improved over the past year and the comic cover really makes it pop.
The toys are nice but the "wow" factor for me is the comic (so far). It's the thing that has pushed the CJC to the next level.
Every year there has been something that has pushed the throttle over the previous year. At the start Joe Canuck had a custom made head. Black Ice gave us the most recognized Cobra North figure. SNowbank brought us the first file card done by Larry Hama. The HATE tank set brought a chrome Hiss tank and the only version of Backstop in the 25th anniversary format. The Hail Storm gave us the 1st second version of a previously established character that also switched sides and gave more character depth. Last years set gave us the first 8 man set that had the most colour we've seen before with 3 red characters, 2 brown, 1 all black, 1 black pants with grey shirt, 1 black and blue pants with blue shirt, and fleshed out the training process for the Joe team. This year for me personally it's going to be the comic.
The idea of getting a full time professional comic book artist really helps to build the CJC name.
