Anyone ever claim Insurrance from USPS to Canada?
« on: January 15, 2013, 09:22:33 AM »

Hey, I got an item that was damaged but insured, its a resin statue with a broken arm and hand, as well as a small hairline crack.  I want to claim insurance on it but dont know the process, anyone have experiance with this?  Package was from US to Canada via USPS.  Will the item have to be given back or just simply brought in to verify damage and then Id be able to keep it?  Im a little torn on what to do because the item is rare and very very hard to find and repairable but I do want some compensation back due to damage.

the USPS website should tell you what you need to do.
