Looking for 12" Joes
« on: May 31, 2010, 09:32:50 PM »

I am looking to complete my collection of 12" RAH characters and here are the ones I need:

Big Brawler (Please, no jokes about me wanting 12 inches of Big Brawler!)
Shockblast
Depth Charge
Kamakura

I don't need the accessories, as long as the figure has all of their uniform I'll be happy.

I'm also looking for any original painted head or fuzz head Joes from '64-76 and any reproductions of them in any condition. If you have any questions or need something clarified, let me know.

I don't have what you are looking for. I just wanted to say "Hi" to another 12' fan. There is only a few of us on the board. Sure I'm into the 3 3/4 as my main collection but I still enjoy the 12 inch figures as well. The past 2 Can Joe Cons I've walked away witha 12' jeep of some sort.

We have had some really good 12' sellers and since the demand for 12' stuff isn't as high as the 3 3/4 stuff there has been some really good deals at Can Joe Con.

Just how much 12" stuff is at the convention? I'm getting into the 1:6 scale stuff. Not a Joe but I picked up DiD's Captain Miller from Saving Private Ryan. What an amazing figure. Anyway, I'd love to get some Joe 12" stuff, even repros would be cool.

Cheers,
Ian

We should switch forums...
...but last year I recall two dealers who had 12" stuff - one only a couple pieces, the other quite a lot including vehicles and playsets. I may have missed some because I wasn't really looking for it.

I took this pic last year. I doesn't show all his tables, as this guy had a few, but it will give you an idea:

Aw, that picture makes me want to go even more now!  Yep, if anyone has anything like those they want to get rid of, let men know, we can do cash or trades.

Mods: Feel free to move this to the Wanted section, I didn't see that there was one until I already posted this here.  My bad. :-

Oh man, that's a lot of Joes.  :o  Thanks for sharing that photo.  Yeah, I'd love more than a few things off that table. Now to go water that money tree - damned thing just doesn't want to grow!

Cheers,
Ian

That was 1 table of 4 or 5 tables. Guys, Canada has cheap Joes!

And a "free" table.

And Timbits.

Come to the next Can Joe Con.

Well, if there are that many tables and the Joes are cheap, how the heck can I resist. I'm going to have to use extra fertilizer on that money tree. 8)

Cheers,
Ian
