Title: O rings for vintage figures
Post by: gijoejj on March 18, 2014, 10:59:29 PM
I was wondering where to get good o rings for vintage joes in Ontario.  Need to fix some of my figures but want to get good o rings that won't break too easy or don't fit correctly.  If anyone could help much appreciated.

If you have Lowes hardware stores they sell o-rings in their plumbing department. They're BrassCraft BCP723. I've also received the next size up from people but I don't like them since the diameter of the rubber is wider even if the ring itself is larger.

NOTE: The hard rubber doesn't work well with Joes that don't have tapered arm mounts. Better to use an old o-ring from a spare fig to fix one of those or when you move the arms the torso can crack. This pic has one of each type of arm mount.
