bought these guys all from one seller. Only speck in the ointment was one of the pegs broke off the Techno-Viper's backpack in transit...

I love seeing a collection get new stuff. Keep posting!

I had to get like 5 Saw Vipers before I got one with an unmarked up head. Still looking for a Technoviper with perfect silver (I can't bear to open my carded one). Backpack should be easy to replace.

I thought he got out of the business.

Saw it over the weekend. Liked it a lot. Glad Ryan Reynolds was willing to keep the mask on for a large part of the film. I hate it when superhero movies don't have the hero in the mask because they want to show off the star's face. (Spider Man movies are the worst for this) Best adult action movie since Dredd I'd say.

Threaded toggles or toggle bolts work pretty well for direct drywall mounting unless the drywall ever gets wet.

We use lots of toggle bolts here at work for shelving but you need to make sure to stay under the rated weight.

Yeah he dollar and the extra eBay shipping fees have all but killed eBay for me.

Not to mention that Paypal just jacked up it's conversion fees.

another new arrival, Dusty v3, or Dune Runner and his coyote Sienna, as I'm naming them.

I HATE the plastic used for those brown guns. Wrecks an otherwise OK figure from the era of pretty hit-or-miss figs.

Dollar has pretty much killed my interest in buying Joes since I used to cherry pick nice stuff off ebay for my collection and most of that was in the US. I've noticed a huge drop off in local CL ads with Joes as well. Don't know the correlation though.

I've also pretty much slashed any discretionary spending since food has gotten insane expensive. Video games, vacations, eating out. At least Fallout and Witcher take a long time to finish...

Looks really nice. Did you use glass or Lexan? How heavy is it? Could you hang it on a wall or is it shelf only?

I was tempted but I have no room for the one I already bought, built, then disassembled and the spare I've never opened. Also, it'd kinda suck without a Firebat to put in it. Very cool set though. Needs a bit of re-engineering to make to top stay together though. I suspect that's why LEGO doesn't usually have such large parts with such little re-enforcement to maintain the shape.

Finally found Rodimus at Walmart and picked up a Cyclonus for $20. I've come around on Cyclonus. I kinda like how purple he is.

Also picked up silver Megatron at TrU. He was on sale for $50 I think. Kinda cool tank mode and looks good as at robot. Kinda wish he was to scale with Optimus. :(

Now keeping an eye out for Combaticons.

Noticed Hasbro changed the legs on white Prime a bit. He stands with the legs farther apart (I prefer the original style) but he stands way better as a combiner.

Hot Spot is kinda rare. I occasionally see him at WalMart but I did see one at TrU last weekend.

They seem to be ramping up the series 2 minis again, I've seen 2 Blackjacks in the past couple weeks.

TrU just got a million Protectobots, the first 2 waves seem to be about done. WalMart is your best bet I'd say.

I picked up Ironhide, Prowl and the rest of that wave 3 weeks ago at Walmart along with that white Prime at TrU last week. No Hot Rod sightings yet.

MP Starscream came and went in about 3 days at TrU. He's WAY better than the old Walmart one and way cheaper than the Takara one with similar colours. (I had to fight a bit to get his legs out but I've read a lot of reports about kinda crappy quality with that one.)
